Members of the Greene County High School chapter of the National Honor Society recently presented a check for $330 to Kristie Hurley, volunteer coordinator of RSVP 55+ for the Lots of Socks project. The funds will be used to augment the socks and under garments donated in the Lots of Socks drive held last fall.
The students raised the funds with bake sales of student-baked items at Hy-Vee and Fareway. Members thanked the community for support.
